Ok guys, i'm still new to this so please bear with me.
i just purchased my first PSD a 02 F250 cc 4x4, bone stock. i bought it off a nissan dealer used car lot. i love my truck and it runs like a dream with no problems, but i was wondering how to change the warranty over to me. it has 96K on the clock and i want to get it all sorted it incase something happens within the next 4,000 miles.
There is no change over. If you take take it to a Ford dealer they enter the VIN and the mileage, and if it's below 100k miles since it was purchased new and less than 5 years, it's covered. The warranty is on the vehicle, it isn't assigned to a person.
No, it's an engine warranty, not a powertrain or bumper to bumper. It basically covers anything that it lubed with engine oil. There are a few more things than that covered. I don't have the list.
