I'm looking for a deep deep raspy tone. I'm not sure if the sounds clips one the net are good enough to go by. Do you know a brand that sounds like that?
Youre on the right track then, an IMCO or Flowmaster muffler will give you just that sound. Im looking on IMCOs website, and it looks like their systems are composed of different part numbers? I didnt see a part number for a complete kit, but if you manage to find one, let me know and I can check a price for you.
I havent had much experience with dynomax, they have some of the cheapest systems for our trucks, but im not sure about the quality of their mufflers. As far as flowmaster, the most popular is the 40 series. As you move up in the series, the mufflers get a little more civilized, 50, 60 and 70 series
My husband has been looking all over for the "IMCO Performance - Cat Back System" for his '03 ford expedition.
We were even sent to a local dealer by IMCO directly but for some reason they don't want to sell us one... They push flowmaster or a number of others. I notced you told another poster that if they make it you can get it.
My husband is sold on IMCO. We've searched high and low for someone who will sell us this system. My husband will even do the install if we could find someone willing to ship it to us.. Can you help?
Thanks
