"Christmas" has been in a few stores around here for the last 2 weeks. Keeps getting earlier and earlier every year. Just makes it harder to find what I'm lookling for, as half of the store has been dedicated to Christmas.

Maybe I ought to host an FTE Un-Christmas party for all us lonely misfits who don't get a lot (or any) enjoyment out of the hoilday any more...!

My wife always makes us go broke at Christmas time so I really don't like Christmas. I don't mind giving gifts to people but I hate going broke to do it.

I am always poorer at Xmas, but the Humbugs seem to disappear when I watch my 7 grandkids show off their presents.

Well, having kids around can change the whole perspective of the holiday and goes a long way to dispel the humbugs. But for those of us without anyone, it can be a rather bleak time of the year.
