Coolant Leak
Hello, I hope there isn't a topic about this already, I've searched, but can't find anything like this. I am leaking coolant when the truck sits for a few days. It was at the airport all weekend and there was a little puddle under it when I got back. When I'm driving it, it is dry as a bone. I could tell it was running down the lower radiator hose. I can't tell exactly where the leak is coming from, but I haven't looked that hard yet. Seems to me it shouldn't be the water pump, or it would leak all the time when driving. Maybe someone has had this happen before and they can help point me in the right direction.

That's what happened to me and it was the o-ring that sealed up the lower hose flange to the water pump. Very simple repair. Drain system, remove the bolts, clean mating surfaces, lubricate the surfaces with a VERY thin coating of silicone grease and reinstall with a new o-ring. Refill system
