Injection Pump
My 7.3 banks turbo in my truck does not smoke at all even under full load and with my foot to the floor. Does this mean that the pump was never turned up? How could I tell if my truck was running lean?

Maybe they just went a little conservative on the fuel screw. Do you get a little grey (or darker) smoke if you snap the throttle from an idle? If so, it's probably set right, but that doesn't mean you couldn't tweak it up a little more.

It is before. I turned the screw up one flat and man did that make a huge difference in response. My EGT's are a little higher but thats fine. I'll be towing this weekend and I'll be sure to keep an eye on the EGT's.
