Airaid intake question?

Just had an airaid intake installed on my 06. I am no mechanic, so I was wondering where the air is coming in. I know it is an open box but it seals when the hood is down and it seems to be resting on something that is completely blocking the front tube. So how does the air get in?

UGA 33, I am using the same intake and the vertical right side of the main grille is where the air comes in from what I can see. A friend of mine cut a section out of the fiberglass in front of the rad for more air flow ???. Not sure on that one but I am not just going to start hacking it up.

Arrow Search . . .

It sucks air from behind the radiator support. Do a search on the Zoodad Mod and you'll see pages of discussion on cutting the hole in the plastic.

Thanks lonewolftx, I'm going to check it out. I wasn't sure about cutting the hole so I will read on and go from there.

Talking No Worries . . .

No problem, that is what we do here, help each other out to let them learn as to what they want to do or not do based on others experience. I have the Airaid system and did cut the hole for air improvement.

See my pic's in the gallery. . . .
