Question Dp smoke tune?

Anybody have the smoke tune on their chips that could give some advice? I want the 140hp tune and the smoke but just noticed that the smoke is rated for 140hp also. Thanks for any help.

Well, I dont have the 140 hp tune, but I do have the 120 race and smoke. And the smoke seems to pour out at about the same rate and thickness, almost no difference. Maybe more in the low end of the smoke... I honestly would say just to get the 140hp.

Ask jody when you call.

How's that 120 tune? I'm thinking 60,100,140 for mine just cause I've heard that there's not much difference when just stepping up 20hp. I'm curious if it will be alot better than what I'm running now. Hate to spend the money for just a little more umph.

120 is pretty quick, but I do notice a difference between that, and the smoke.

Thanks for the help. I went ahead and ordered 60,80,100,120,140,smoke and high idle. I'm laid off from work right now so might as well spend some money right. I just put my H2E turbo in tonight so hopefully the DP will give me what I need.

Crack, no you can't pick the setting for smoke. It's the same as the 140hp setting but with a litte more fuel added to the program from what I understand. Kinda like my 120hp chip I have now. I have tons of power but when I kick the 18ku p on top of my chip it's nothing but black.

I was the same way. I've been wanting one forever just because all the hype. I'm hoping it will be better than what I already have or I'll be pissed. You'll have a hard time turning those big a** 37's no matter what.

Yeah I've been wanting to for awhile now just haven't had a camera. The thing is now Almost everything I plan on doing to my truck is done. I wish I woulda had a good camera to take pics along the way.I bought my fiance a new one last week so I'm taking her old one now. Hopefully the Powerstroke God's will forgive me. That was $2300 I coulda used for injectors or a dual hpop.

The HPOP won't keep up in the 120/140 settings if you really get on it. It'll set the SES light for p1211.
