I,m having idle problems with a f-150 2004, when reduce Speed or stop it tries to turn off. The check eng. is caused by a IAC speed too low code, can't remember the number. Any help be apreciated.

 

p1504? or p1507?, the throttle body motor is weak and cannot hold an idle due to the pull of vacuum, replace the throttle body.

 

I don't think so. The correct diagnosis should be to clean or replace the Idle Air Control Valve, not the throttle body.

Cleaning it sometimes hemps but be prepared for replacement.

Reset the PCM after working on the IAC to force the computer into a relearn cycle. Pulling the PCM KAM fuse for 10 minutes will do it.

Funny, I guess I don't know what I'm talking about, try to find the iac and clean it, but when you cannot find one, you'll be replacing the throttle body because the truck has an electronic throttle body, which controls idle and throttle. Maybe he should check the throttle cable end play too!!!
