Tempo help
My buddy had I believe a 89 Ford tempo no anti lock brakes. He changed the master cylender first bench bled it by plugging all 4 and clamping in vise then pushing plunger until it got tight .. Then put it on bled the braked. Brakes felt fine but when he started the car the pedal went to the floor it will stop but barely. Shut it off and the brakes will pump up.. What are we missing...

do you have power brakes? sounds like it, it will drop when started and when theres no power assist (engine off) it seems to pump up ok. Unless theres some specific trick to a Tempo, you still got air in the system. I still find the ol' 2 man the cheapest and best way to bleed brakes, do it in this order- RR, LR, RF, LF.
