Will it leak?
Im all finished with the long block assembly on my 65 390 and i noticed the stock ci intake corners where they meet the headfs are about3/32 above the heads?Will this seal if i use the fel-pro cork/blu stripe gaskets or should i just use "the right stuff".Thanks Maddy

So you tried the intake WITHOUT gaskets and there is a gap? So, the intake is sitting on the block, not the heads when there is no gaskets. Or did you put the end gaskets on and setting the intake there is a gap where the other gaskets goes?
With that gap, it might seal up alright. I'd put the outer gasket on and see how much lower gap there is(no end gaskets). Then decide if the end gaskets are too thick to use.
