Cool.
I don't know that I've ever seen a bad report on a Powerstroke on here or anywhere for that matter.

Molybdenum : Anti-wear additive, coating on some new rings
(washes off as break-in occurs).

No motor work ever done I guess at 85K shes not quite broke in yet

good catch. my report says 4ppm. the paper says that molybednum is an anti-wear additive, and is in some types of piston rings. so i guess that's good having a high number.

ZooDad is FREE. Cut a whole in the bulkhead in front of the airbox snorkle to let more air in

well, the report is $20, and the sample kit is free. the TBN (total base number) factor that determines the amount of "stuff" left in the oil is $10, and i got it.

a zoodad mod is free, plus a discount. its a hole that you cut in the radiator supports on either side, that scoop air into the radiator. it allows a straight path to the filter. take a look.

I think that Moly is also an additive in some oils. I run Rotella and the analysis from Oilguard is "0" on mine. I was just wondering if Chevron oil was loaded with it or something.

Can you do the Zoodad with a sabre saw? What do you have to remove to get to the spot where you make the cut?

Take the grill off and you'll have plenty of room to work. A few screws at the top and snaps at the bottom. I cut mine with a hole saw and then connected the two holes with a saber saw.

Just remove the front grill, I used a rotoZip & I think Kris used a die grinder. it will be kinda tight in there with a sabre saw
