i live in clearwater fl, i was going to visit my sister last night in tampa, i went by a hess station and saw a traffic jam to get gas, it was 1.89 went by a few others and saw a range of 1.89-199, still a little over two here in clearwater. i almost shed a tear when i saw this, i dont know about you guys but between driving my new truck and filling up my boat i feel like im working to just fuel up for the last year or so, this is much needed having it back under 2 bucks.
Geez, I'd probably kill for gas under $2 a gallon. Around here (Northern Oregon) we're FINALLY starting to see gas around $2.60 a gallon. It's been up around and past $3/gallon for most of the summer. I need to take out a small loan just to fill up my expedition.
On the flip side diesel prices are WAY down around here too. For almost two years they've been pricing diesel up above the price for super (around $3.30/gal) now some stations have started to price it with the regular unleaded again.
Filled up in Rockford Illinois @ $2.15/gallon regular unleaded. My bill was $199.91 for 96 gallons or so. 38 in the Excursion and 10 5 gallon tanks for my recreational activities. I know it doesn't add up...
(It was $3.28 less than two months ago when we left on this same trip. That bill was well over $300)

The Shell station downtown is at 2.17 today for regular... But the surrounding stations dropped about 9 cents today, so seeing 2.10 tomorrow or the next day is what I'm expecting. It's a VERY nice change. Not getting my hopes up though, probably gunna shoot back up after the election... Haven't looked much, but I think diesel is at ~2.60ish... could be wrong though
Its been $1.95 for about a week now around here, but 10 miles away it is $2.15.I have been waiting to see if it gets any lower before I fill up.If it gets lower I might even put Barney back on the road.
