swapping cd changer for indash cd stereo
Hi Gang.
With the car seats in the back of the Screw, it's a PITA to change cd's. Sure...having six slots to fill is nice...but once you listen to the six a couple of times, I'd like to change the tunes out. Besides...sometimes you just want to listen to one specific tune on another cd.
The point is...has anyone changed out the cd changer system for an aftermarket indash cd stereo. Did you like the change? What system worked well for you? Was there any issues with the wiring to the changer?

I had a CD/radio combo installed in my truck several years ago. It also has a built in casette player as I have a lot of old music on tapes. Mine is a Sanyo unit and it's hooked to a 100 watt amp. I don't need a whole lot of power hence the small amp.
The unit has a plug for hooking to a CD changer which I debated on getting but haven't to this day.
I have since installed Sirius radio and seldom listen to CDs or tapes.
I watched the installation and it went easy.
