I'm cutting my windshield any tips?
Monday I go to the Glass shop and I'm getting my windshield cut 2" to fit in the chopped top hole. Does anyone have any tips or expirence in cutting these at $177. a windshield I've got about two chances. Then it's back to saving up. The shop that is doing it hasn't done that many but they are my only choice.

I have heard of them being ground down using sand blasting. Only draw back it the amount of time it takes to do it. Have you checked online using google? I know there are a bunch of companies in CA that do it often and will probably give a really good product.

Kong, Old glass gets brittle, me thinks I'd spend me money on new. I think I have seen a company at some shows that was in maybe Tenn. that did custom glass orders.

Thanks Guys I have a glass shop that's going to give it a try if this doesn't work it will be back to saving money and then trying someone else. Where I'm at I don'thave much of a choice.Trailering the truck 240 miles tomorrow.I hope this works I ordered two windows John anyone want to wish me luck?????
