89 f150 5.0 fuel problems
starts good @ runs good after a while it bogs down @ dies almost acts like a vapor lock will start then die some times sevral times when it starts to run good again blows black smoke alittle then is fine a bit when it gets warmer in the after noon this happen more often i have replaced the dist moduel the pick up coil the ing, coil the fuel presure reg the fuel selector valve to switch tanks this truck has 2 fuel pumps in the tank 1 on the frame this is driving me nuts no codes shows up when not having this issue it runs great no mis good throttle response any help is welcome ps, does this on either tank thanks for reading mike green also changed 2 temp sensors a,i,c, control no vac leaks that i can find

When you say you changed "2 temp sensor" what sensors are talking about?
Did it one or two wires on it?
Did you change two different sensors, one with two wires and one with one wire?
It sure sounds like the ECT (two wires) or ACT sensor to me.

check fuel pressure at the rail, also remove the vac line going to the fpr. if gas is present the fpr is bad. what is your timing set at? and how do the plugs look. and you must get at least 1 code showing a system pass.
