Molding screws
Good Afternoon,
I am trying to find some source of screws for the door same molding for my 2001 Edge 3.0L. My local dealer in the Bahamas says they are not something that they have, nor can they get. Which is a good thing for me cause their parts are EXPENSIVE. Any help for an online source of these parts would be great.

I am not sure if any of us can help you unless you would be more specific about exactly which screws you are referring to. I have had this problem in the past with the Dealers and the only solution was to take another of the same screws to a couple of hardware stores and try to get the closest match. Once I found one, if I wanted them to all be the same, I replaced them all. But if you want some ideas I think we'd need to know where the screw is from, size, type of head and so on. Otherwise helping you will be difficult.

Salvage yard is a good bet. Also, they have assortments of trim screws in packages in those "help" type packages at the auto parts store. (Help section contains most commonly failling parts, like tailgate cables, etc). Another area that I have found locally, is autobody supply places, they carry a variety of fasteners.
