I am considering buying Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels for my 05 F250SD. I am running ProComp 35x12.5x18 Extreme AT's. I am concerned about the 3,000lb load rating on these wheels. The tires are E rated at 3,415lb, the MT's would make the wheels the weak link.
The max load I tow on average is 1500# in the bed and 800# trailer tongue weight. Based on some best guesses at weight distribution, I come up with a worst case 2800# per wheel. This is awful close to the 3000#...
I see lots of guys running these wheels on F250's & 350's. Any thoughts?
