sealed rear?

sealed rear?
Yesterday i got an LMC Truck catalog in the mail and in it was a section called "How to identify your rear end" so I thought to my self HMMMMMM wonder what I got? So I go look at the rear in my 79 F-150 and there are no markings stamped on it that i can find?....and then i notice that the punkin has no bolts in it at all it is just sealed completly? Does anyone have any idea what this might be? And why would the rear be sealed off? how do you get into it?

ok by sealed I mean there are no bolts around the differential cover (I wasnt very clear there was I) as far as the dirt goes i cleaned it all off with gas and I dont see any markings on the diferential or on the tubes definitly not any Dana markings. There is a hole for fluids of course but im wondering how would you open it up? and most of all what kind of rear is it? I grew up around chevy's and this is my first ford and I dont ever remember seeing a rearend without a bolt on differential cover? just struck me as odd ...any help is much appreciated
