Lucas fuel additive, on sale at Pilot...
At lunch today, noticed the 1-gallon size Lucas "Upper Cylinder Lubricant" additive marked down from $24 to $20 at Pilot truckstop station, a couple bucks more than same size Diesel Kleen, but says treats 400 gallons vs. 300 on the DK bottle, so little more concentrated. Is this a good price for this stuff? Only other place I ever saw it was International Dealer when getting filters, but been a while and they didn't have the gallon bottles.
I like their smaller bottles w/ the "squirt top" and lid and oz. markings on the side, so bought a couple gals and will re-fill that 32 oz bottle that fits my cupholder. But at $20 per gallon and $9.50 for the 32 oz size seems like a good price if others may be in the need or looking for DK alternative. From the label, don't think the Lucas is anti-gel, but otherwise hoping the benefits are similar to DK...

Good deal. I keep 2 of those squirt bottles in the truck: regular and cold weather. Usually get it from summitracing.com for $20.95 a gal., but you have to add a handling change to each order. So that sounds like a good price. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...914635&NeXID=5
When below 20 deg F, I use the extreme cold weather blend.
