Greetings
I finally got a reason to replace the F-150 that had served so faithfully for the last 13 years. We got bitten by the camping bug and, while the F-150 pulled the new pop-up fine, its standard cab couldn't handle the whole family.
Since I have wanted a diesel for a while now, it seemed like the time to do that, too. When my daughter put all of that plus a manual transmission into the computer, it answered with a couple of locally available trucks.
As a result, I am now the proud owner of a '94 F-350 7.3 Powerstroke Crew-cab with a 5-speed tranny. Although I didn't ask for this, it also is a dually. (I always wanted a vehicle that was measured in acres instead of feet and inches!)
This is a great site!
I'm glad to be here.

In my zeal, I lied. It's not a Powerstroke. It's an IDI Turbo-Diesel. I finally got around to looking a little closer under the hood and checking the VIN codes. Quite honestly, I've been enjoying the truck too much to worry about things like that. Right now I'm nursing a broken instrument panel cover. Who knows when I'll get around to fixing that?
