WOW! You plan to USE the cab and REPLACE the frame??? Seems like the other way around might be a better route to your DD. I do hope you have a LOT of bodywork skills since you will end up virtually handbuilding an entire new cab to use even a small portion of that one. Have you given consideration to finding a more solid example to start with? Especially the big trucks, they are relatively plentiful and cheap outside the rust belt. I saw one, a stake bed, being used to move gooseneck trailers around at a trailer dealer in Topeka KS last week that only needed the paint buffed to look nearly new.
Well the truth is finding a cab as rusty as this in PA is actually a good find, especially for the price. My plan is to pull the cab off soon and then fix it up. Probably use a F-1 front end and hood that my buddy has since it is in a lot better shape than this one. Well I'll post updates as they happen

Don't even try to use the F-1 front fenders. You won't be able to turn the wheels on that F-6. Almost everything else will interchange...
