No reverse Sensor, Valve? Help!
Is there a computor controled sensor that might not be letting my truck go into reverse? Its a 1990 F250 E40D.What do you guys think about some sort of tranny flush in case of a sticking valve.

servo pacs are high dollar so lets hope its just sticking how long has it been since ya last drove it and was all well at that time good dose of barimans or k&n might work but really don't know before i service mine i always run a can of barimans thru the drive about 200 to300 miles then do a complete flush takes all the varnish and gum out this way

It was working fine when it was parked, but its been sitting for two years. Will the flush work if I just let it run in park or should I put it in reverse or forward? I've never heard of barimans where do you get it?

How many times have you gone from forward to reverse since attempting to move the vehicle..... It could take quite a few fwd/rev selections to get the oil back into all the cracks and crevasses. Check the level often........
