Flywheel for trans swap
Thanks in advance!
Not 100% sure on the tooth count of the flexplate, but I am fairly certain. I do believe the AOD will need a 164 tooth flexplate. Most likely since this is a truck you are already using a 164 tooth flexplate not the smaller 157 tooth one and definitely not the smaller 141 tooth Mustang II/Pinto flexplate. So the flexplate you have will most likely work. Just make sure it's 164 tooth. If you have a 157 tooth you will need to get a 164 tooth flexplate with the same imbalance as your current flexplate. If it's a 50 oz imbalance (late model 302) it should be easy to find. If it's a 351W, early 302, 289, etc. or a big block straight 6 you may have a little more trouble finding the part you need.
If you have a 28 oz imbalance motor you need:

Also, you do not have a flywheel. A flywheel is a heavy part with a flat area for the clutch to grip and machined threaded holes for the pressure plate... only used for a manual transmission.
