hi, i was wondering what all i would need to swap a 351 to a diesel in an 89 f250. thanx

 

dont bother... get a truck with a diesel and be done with it... but if you really want to know- engine, transmission, fuel tank, and if youre doing a powerstroke- computer, and if the powerstroke is an auto- a computer for the tranny, and if your truck is a 4x4 probably a new transfer case- if youre doing an old 7.3 idi motor its a whole lot less electronics to deal with but just as much headache for mounting everything, but itll be easier and probably cheaper in the long run to just buy the truck with the diesel
