What Is?
66 era slicks have a "dimple" on the face of the dash, right hand side.
theres' one on the left as well and thats for the windshield washer.
Whats the other one for as I've never seen a pic with anything there?

Ron, I think what you might be refering to was a pull lever for a vent near the floor on some of the earlier model pickups.
I don't recall them being on the 66, but I might be mistaken.

John is correct; the dimples were for '64 and earlier trucks which had a different vent style system.
And, as you noted, some '65 and '66 trucks used the left dimple for the washer squirts button.
It is possible '65/66 4WD trucks had the vent pulls there in the dimples, as their cabs with all the internal systems are closer to the '64 and earlier instead of the '65 and '66.

Gentlemen:
I would have guessed some type of vent pull but have never seen a functional one. Most of the interior pic's on 66's have the dimple and it would be neat to install the vent pulls and requisite vent doors on a 66
