hard starting

I was having a problem last week with my 1988 f-150 , 5.0 aod tranny which I think have fixed but thought I would post the problem and the fix so far. Symptons were that on cold start up in the morning the truck would go to high idle as expected for about 1/2 a second then stall .After several attempts with the same result I had to open the throttle a little and hold it there till it warmed up and then I could drive off.Other symptoms on other days were fast idle would be ok but as she warmed up it would buck a liitle when you got you foot into the gas. This could last for several miles. For the rest of the day it would be fine starting and stopping as I visit constuction sites all day long. Other symptoms was the idle was a little rough some of the time and on a couple of occasions when fully warmed up at a stop light came close to stalling. I decided to run the codes and discovered my check engine light wasn,t coming on. Thats another fix so I decided to check the idle air motor, ect, act, tps and the 02 sensor . All met specifications so I startd to look at the wiring harness connectors. I found one rectangular style on the inner drivers side fender with 12 wires that was in rough shape. It really wasnt a weather pack style. Something you would see inside the vehicle. 2 wires were hanging on by a couple of strands and when disconnected was full of corrosion with 2 pins pretty well covered . I cut the connector out and soldered everthing back together complete with heat shrinks. Its been 4 days and working fine so far
