Smooth '77
Has anyone done a smooth or shaved skin 77 4x4. I'm starting a ground up this winter. And I am looking for ideas. I've seen the posts about getting the hold release secured in the cab of the 77. I'm thinking I want to reverse tilt the hood. Also I am thinking about a keyless smooth skin doors. To go along with the side I figure the rear might as well be smooth, so I was wondering if it was possible to put the tailgate latch on the inside and recess it. That way with a lockable tonnue cover the bed would be secure. If anyone can give me some thoughts and what it might take to do these mods it would be appreciatted. Even if it means getting my bubbble burst. Thanks
