Oil leak

Sooo...I work a grave-shift and hopped in the EX tonight. Got to work "About 2 Miles" and smelled oil burning coming through the heat vent. I get out and its apparent that there is some oil leaking. It happens to be 11PM so I can't see anything right now. I just wanted to know if there are any Oil Leak Trends that most everyone has had to deal with at some point??

I will report back where it is actually coming from but I am interested in other folks exp. with oil leaks as well.

Thanks,

Brad

Well fellas I just could not help myself. I had to go out and investigate witha flashlight to check it out.

No oil on the deck, nothing on the pan, nothing anywhere visible on the underside of the block or anywhere else for that matter. No oil traces on the manifolds or intake either, THAT I COULD SEE anyways.

Started it up to see if I could duplicate the oil smell and NOTHING...

I hate this kinda stuff...heh

Will investigate further tomorrow morning in the shop.

Cheers,

Brad
