ATS Diesel Performance's, E-power tuner. It has a lot of safety's built into it and you can have it programmed for whatever you want to do. I'm going to buy one for my '06 PSD when I get the money. The reason I know all this is because I have a friend that works for ATS and he introduced me to the guy that builds the programs for E-power.You can check it out for yourself at atsdiesel.com

HI blieux1,

Actually, the safest & best bet is to have your diesel *custom* tuned, and we can take care of that for you. We specialize in tuning these F-series and have for 15 years, having been involved in the tuning for the 7.3 PSD's, for example, since they first came out in 1995.

We can provide tunes that are safe for towing, for all-out performance, for best fuel economy, etc., whatever is most appropriate for your needs.

We use the most advanced hand-held tuner on the market, the XCalibrator 2, which has not only full Ford enhanced-parameter diagnostics, but also the highest speed datalogger on the market built right in.

Your tunes will deliver safe EGT's and be set up for how you use your vehicle an your specific needs.

Please feel free to give us a call to go over this in more detail, our number is listed just below.

Thanks for your post & best of luck with your truck!

I just installed a Superchips Tuner with a Bully Dog Outlook controller in the cab of my 2000, F350, 7.3. All I can say is wow, what an incredible diffference! I can dial anything from stock to a 100% boost which generates an additional 110 HP and close to 200# of plus torque.....
I am a really happy camper!

I use a Predator. I run the 60hp tune for normal driving an dthe 40hp tow tune for towing. I found it new for $299 online and it works well. It does basically the sam ething as the SCT XcalII. Both are great products.

You can't go wrong with the X Cal 2 and the custom tunes for the particular mods your truck have...

The Predator is a plug in programmer like the SCT but that's as far as it goes. The SCT is completely tunable by your custom dealer

I've heard very good things about the Predators. We picked up a predator for the 2007 Mustang GT that my dad bought and I am anxious to try it out. 289.99 shipped to my door from Dan at dieselup. He has an ad on here in the Vendors section. Great guy to work with.
