floor shifter removal
how do i get the t hand gip with the side push button off so i can take off the floor coverits an automatic. also trying to get the seats out took the backs off already i might have to cut them

Look under the t hand grip where it mounts to the lever, there may be a hidden screw you can loosen to take it off. Otherwise you may need to take the whole shifter out together once it is unbolted from the floor. The seats should unbolt from the floor right where the support goes to the floor. The bolts may be rusty so using a rust solvent will help or even with that the bolts may twist off.
