Been awhile since I last posted, so I figured I would fill all of you in on what has been going on the last little bit. First, got married. Seconde, sold the 79 F350 super cab 4x4 to a lister from Ohio. It was a mutual decision to sell, I think. We did keep it long enough so we could use it to drive away from the church. That was pretty cool. Third, traded the 05 Chevy 2500HD in on an 07 F250. We needed a truck she could drive. The long bed, extended cab, stick shift Chevy 4x4 was a little tough for her to drive around KCK. So we got an F250 shortbed, supercab, 4x4, auto.
We love the 250. A much better pickup all around than the Chevy. We got the 5.4 and couldn't be happier. Can't say enough good things about the Ford. Quality is very good, as well as the ride, interior, etc. Definitely more of a truck. Love the solid front axle and lockouts.
79 F350 was the only year ford put a dana 70 rear, a dana 60 front, a 460, and I think the np435 transfer case --- suposed to be wheelin machines with a capital w... Hope you got what you wanted out of it. And congrats on the marrige... and of course the new baby (the F250 that is) :-)
