91 f 150 with issues
Im working on a 91 F 150 with a 300 6cyl, and we just got done replacing the head gasket. Before we did that the truck ran like crap like it was running on only 3 or 4 cylinders and popping real bad. We messed with the timing but it still dosent make it any better. All the spark plugs, wires and distributor are working. Could this possibly be a fuel injector problem? what is the firing order for this engine? I think its 1 5 3 6 2 4. What is the easiest way to get the trouble codes?

Thanks for the info....would bad valve lifters possibly cause it to run rough like that...i was thinking the oil pump was not pressuring up the hydraulic lifters right. and it was causing it to run like that.
