So what do your static timing marks look like on the engine now? Also, how would you describe the sound of the truck with cold advance on, and off? Anything like the sound bites?

Well, the static marks were set with the pump mark about 1/6" from the housing mark to the driver's side. Now it is about 3/16" to the passenger side. It may be a little on the fast side now - time will tell.
It DEFINITELY has the PS rattle at start up and until the cold advance kicks off. Just like the "cold start" sound clip you sent me. After it warms up enough for the cold advance to kick off, it has just a hint of rattle at idle. Stomp on the go pedal and it does a little bit of a BRRRRRAP of rattle as it spins up. A little more than in the second "warm engine" sound clip you sent.
Like I said, it may be a tad on the fast side, but I think its going to be OK now.....
