The ZF-S542 and the ZF-S547 are both the same transmission rated for 420 ft lbs and 470 ft lbs. They where available in F250 and F350's from the late 80's thru the late 90's. You will need one that came from a truck with either the 300 or 351 so the bellhousing will bolt up. It also has a hydraulic clutch so you will need to swap that in if your going to put it in your truck that you have in your sig. Gear ratios are 5.72, 2.94, 1.61, 1.00, 0.76.

lol I tell people I drive a 2 speed 2nd and 3rd I have a np435 and granny is so low with just the few mods I have done (efi manifolds chevy rockerarms x-pipe to 2 cherry bombs) I really just use 2nd to start on the street it has 308 gears (for another month) and 38" tires so 4th is a tad fast for all but the highway

your other option for a transmission is the NV4500, it's a bit easier to find but IS NOT a direct bolt in. You have to come up with a bellhousing and figure out how to attach the clutch linkage. It's a cast iron box with an aluminum OD housing.
The 4500 is based off of the 435 4 speed, but has higher gearing. For some reason OEM's don't think people need 6.7 1st gears and 8.25 reverses anymore
-On a tangent with these transmissions i think it's kinda funny how Jeep makes such a huge deal about the Rubicon's crawl ratio. When the 435 was still available in Fords the f-series could be bought with a better low gear.
