07' Questions

Anyone have info on the the 07' 6.0l. Any opinions on whether it will be a good engine or a one of kind piece of @#$%! I am looking at ordering an 07', I figure for the $5-10K I save over the new 08' I can buy a lot of fuel and even customize the truck somewhat and still be ahead.

That's what we did! The '07 is the most refined of the 6.0s and I think will prove to be a super reliable workhorse -- it has all the latest engine updates and I agree, you'll be rolling the dice with an '08 (or any of the new emission compliant diesels for that matter).

Go order that '07!

I have an 07 trouble-free stock 6.0, These are the last of the 6.0's get one while you can!!!!

Mike: the only thing I've heard of for-sure, was there was an upgrade to one of the HPOP oil lines (to stop a noise/vibration). However, this didn't occur until well into the '07 builds as well (should have seen the production line in July or August Builds). I'd love to know the actual date the update occured as I have a 7/24/06 build. Remember that if you go '06, get one built after mid-Jan '06, to make sure you get the upgraded turbo...

There maybe other small changes, but this is what I've heard that is noteworthy...
