Mounts and Brackets

I'm swapping a SB Ford 302 into a '55 Ford F-100, and need to know which are the best brackets and mounts to use for this swap? The mounts I keep seeing are just the two brackets (no frame cross member) and mounts, are these very sturdy and are these pretty commonly used?

There are several frame to frame tube style mounts that will work. I got mine from MID FIFTY.COM. I would sugest you request a catalog. Many fine parts available. There are other shop's and venders out there. Most are located in the west.

Stock front suspension? If so, the tubular style is a good one to consider. Available in that catalog Chuck just recommended.

I agree...the tubular mount from Midfifty is inexpensive, easy to install, and IMHO the best way to attach a load bearing structural member to the F100 frame.
