not so nice.....
Ok so in my town there is a 58 f100 for sale and my father went to test drive it. When he got there the guy would not let him drive it by himself, nor would he let him take it to my house to show us...my father told him it made him feel like a theif and not such a good man and the owner started yelling at him that he doesn't trust him because he does not know him. Oh well, the owner told my dad he could not buy the truck.
Tomorrow I think I am going to buy the truck because it is a really nice truck. Little does he know who my father is tho.... It is dumb tho, I guess the guy don't want to sell his truck as bad as he thought you know?

not so nice.....
Is it on a lot or a private sale? If it is a private sale I don't blame the guy I wouldn't let someone drive my truck without me there. If it is a lot then the guy has some issues but if its a really nice truck thats understandable. I don't want to anger you but thats the way I feel.

Not a smart idea letting anyone test drive your vehicle without you!!! In my line of work I get people frequently with stolen vehicles that went out for a test drive....both on dealership lots as well as private owners. This is a cake walk for thieves. The last one I was involved with the guy drove to the dealership, left his vehicle and went for a test drive in the new one. As it turned out the vehicle that he drove in with was stolen from another dealership. needless to say he never returned and is probably crossing the country with new vehicles every couple hundred miles. Never let an unknown individual test drive your car without you!!!
