what is the best rack for the 06 powerstroke i do not want it for looks i need it to stop anything that trys to go through the back window.

They are easy to install, durable and don't look half bad. They make 2 different styles one has a mesh that covers the center section.
I am sure there are heavier duty ones out there, but I don't think for the price you will get any better.
