Headlight Swap??
Well, i just replaced the CPS and the Truck runs great now so i figured Id do some cosmetic upgrades.... I picked up a set of new headlights to swap in from an 05.... anyone here done that or know where i can find some more info about it.. .thanks

you can get the new header from ford and then the new headlights will just bolt in. or you can cut the header to fit, which is what i did on my 01 excursion. check out my gallery for alot of pics....

the only thing with replacing the header and keeping your factory grill is that the clips on the bottom will no longer line up. i think puredieselpower.com has a step by step process to cut the old header. that way you can keep all the clip location for the grill. if you are going to do the headlights now and the bumper and grill later, get the header now and wire tie the bottom for now.
EDIT::: go to their website, they are an fte sponsor. on their main page with the dodge pickup, click the <<<FORD>>>. then, on the left side of the page, in the ford products section, click lighting & accessories. then click the pic where it shows the white lowered dually headlight conversion. then click on the installation instructions. that is exactly what i did to my excursion and where i got my instructions from.
