'87 ranger fuel ?
hi, new here. trying to troubleshoot my brothers truck over the phone. can anyone tell me where the fuelpump inertia switch is located on a 1987 ranger, or any way to test for power at the pump?

87XLT, thanks for the info. I knew about the one in the tank, the one on the frame rail is new to me, Ichanged the one in the tank in 2001. My first thought was fuel filter, but he said it was working fine then he went into a walk-in resturant, when he came out it wouldnt start, thats when I thought the inertia switch might have been tripped by somebody hitting his truck (nobody would ever notice). Anyway thanks for the help. I do believe ill be back here sooner or later.
