I'm looking to put dual exit exhaust on my 94 STX supercab 4x4 4.0 5spd to compliment my working shaker hood scoop. Problem is I want tail pipes straight out the back on either side of my reciver hitch, not angled out the corners of the bumper. Local shop wants $350 just to bend pipes, and I still get the dirty work plus buy the muffler. Will a 98 and up exhaust kit fit a 94? or does someone make a kit for what I want? I checked all the big name kits out and from what they have listed for a 94 is angled at the rear or both at stock location or single. If I have to get all custom pipes I'm thinking true duals and running the pipes along the outside of the frame rails. Anyone tried that yet?
Thanks for the help.

I don't know about where you live, but I went to a local muffler shop, told them I wanted a Magnaflow 1 into 2 muffler, told them where I wanted the pipes to exit and what kind of tips I wanted. Two hours later I went back, wrote a check for $250 and drove home.
I have an 04 and my local muffler shop charged me $260 for a single inlet/dual out flowmaster 40 series strait out the back with 3 1/2" stainless magnaflow tips. All the pipe was custom bent at the shop and it was a cat back install. Maybe you should find a cheaper muffler shop.

I need to go to your shop, the only shop around here wants $300, and thats with no muffler and chrome (not stainless) tips.
Yeah, the guy around here is great.....The tips were $40 a piece and I bought the muffler from him and all...I just dropped it off and went back to pick it up about 3 hours later which was only a 3 minute walk and paid him for the work. He was even nice enough to wait to finish it till I got there because the length of the tips wouldnt let him set them in as far as he wanted and he was afraid I wouldnt like the tips sticking out 3/4" pas the bumper. He even does a nice little thing where he charges everything as labor so you don't have to pay sales tax on the mufflers and tips.
I belive it's the Gibbson system that exits out the corners under the bumper and retails for just under $400. But can anyone tell me if a kit for a 98-01 will fit a 94? or about running the pipes to the outside of the framerails for true duals on a 4x4?
