An Odd Beep ?
ok ive notice this twice and it maybe nothing im not sure....i have a 96 xlt with 193k, edo4 tranny,351 , tow package etc...when i turn the key off i heard (only twice) a beep. its not the same beep or ding you here when you turn it on.its a totaly new noise.
anyone know what it is ?

What part of the truck does it sound like its originating from? Not aware of anything OEM that makes noise other than the chime module (which does have about seven separate triggers by the way). But then by 96 there were keyless entry systems and on-board nav. systems and overhead consoles that I've never messed with.
