Running Board?

Is there any reason an 2006 scab running/step board wouldn't fit on a 2004 scab. In particular part # 6L3Z-16450-BC. The various Ford accessories web sites list some boards to fit 2004-2006 while this particular one is listed as 2006. It doesn't say it won't fit an 2004, just doesn't say it will.

Is the body style the new one, or is it like an '03? In other words, is it a 04 Heritage?

If it is the new body style, they should fit. I took mine off my 06 king ranch if you are interested in buying, PM me. Took them off at 4,000 miles, Tan in color.

New body style, white in color. I just liked the look of '06 chrome boards. I looked under the '06 as compared to my '04 and couldn't see any difference. Looking for someone to agree I guess before I order them.

Just wanted to confirm what you guys already knew that the '06 part# 6L3Z-16450-BC works great on an '04. Those online accessory catalogs can be confusing at times.

Running boards

Guess they help you get in the truck. If you were 4 wheeling they probably wouldn't get in the way. I just don't like the looks of them. Like Ma going to the grocery store.
