Some times my truck has a rough idle like it cant keep the rpms stable. It also sometimes will idle ok but it sounds not right like its hard to explain but the truck kinda shakes a little, rpms stable but somethin just doesnt seem right. 3rd once and a while i will be driving and let off the accelerator go to get on it again and its almost like theres no pedal just for second or two. sometimes it does that from a stop too.I have had it too about 3 times since ive had it in june where it would feel like it stalled out but the truck came back by itself, it would blink the engine light then go out then it would shift real early. It hasnt done that for a few weeks or so but i would like to know whats wrong. I changed the fuel filter in the last 20 miles cleaned the screen and put diesel fuel injector cleaner in the tank and filled er up with fresh diesel.

I think the IPR o-rings are a common fix. I have had a rough idle for some time now. I really want to get a newer HPOP and injectors so I am not messing with anything now.
You can rebuild them but they rarely fail. It is only the o rings on the exterior of the sensor that you replace. I have seen some rebuild instruction though
So these are on the bottom of the high pressure oil resivor? And so do i need to order special o-rings for it? i have a standard circular o ring kit here at home with all sizes, but are they the same kind?
Jeremy
The o-rings need to be rated for our oil, get a set from international or ford.
I dont know about you milage, it might improve it a little bit but nothing drastic. Best bet would be to check all fluids, tire pres., and replace filters.
