New Pipes

I was going to put this in the exhaust forum, but I felt it would get better responses here.

I want to run my exhaust all the way back to the bumper, but right now it dumps just past my turbo muffler. I was able to do that install myself, but now I want it run under my bumper. The only shop around here wants $300 to do it. For that price I could buy a Flowmaster setup and do it myself.

So, my question is this:

Are there any prebent tailpipes out there for the Ranger? Specifically in 2.25"? I'm not looking for a mandrel bent pipe, just some regular stuff. I would really like to do it myself. I have had no luck finding anything that I can afford.

Look for another shop, $300 is ridiculous, you can get a full cat back installed for that price.

I've seen no prebent pipes to the rear of the bumper for the Ranger, but it'd actually probably be cheap to have them made and install them yourself.

A friend of mine says he will weld my pipes together (since he's a bada$$ at welding and I'm not), if I get get one of those prebent tubing kits. I can't find any that are non-mandrel bent (it's cheaper). Anyone know where I can at least find a universal kit for cheap?

How about magnaflow mandrel bent stainless steel tailpipes. Made for your ranger. $150 shipped (msrp $260 plus ship). I will have to call them to see if it is the exit you want, but those are the only prebent ranger pipes i could find.

Of course there are quite a few aftermarket kits available to bolt on as well. But few for less than $300

Well, Bob, $150 is not a bad deal at all. Especially for 2.5" stainless pipes. Do you have a link to the product? You might just have yourself a new customer Bob. And also, does it come with with tips?

I dont have a link dave, i had to search a few places to find it, its actually replacement pipes for a dual exhaust ranger kit. I dont think it has tips, i will have to call to ask though, and to see if there are hangar rods on the pipes or if you have to add your own. Ill get the details and let you know.
