I've just bought a 1994 F-250 4x4 with th 7.3 idi turbo and a 5 spd, and I was wondering how many miles a clutch will last on average? I know that it is very dependent on the type of driving, stop & go, towing, off roading, plowing snow and so on.The truck has 230k which is not bad for the year. I am just selling my 1992 f-250 4x4 with a 351 that has 425k on it. See with my dad's business we've had about 5 diesels with over 400k on'em and had one driver with over 800k. Half of the miles on all of our trucks were towing 6 to 13k. We've never had a 5spd before only auto's, and I am suer that it's on at least it's second clutch. It only has a light duty hitch on it and doesn't have a goosenech hitch. Thanks Guys
