Alot of interesting combinations here. Did your 300 have a 3spd,4spd, or Automatic behind it? If auto, you need a pilot bushing for the stick, I'd bet the flywheel is different also. Did the 5 spd come from behind a 300 6cyl? Floor shift probally needed, check the rear end ratio you have. Lots of pondering to do...
63unibody. I can't say if the bell housing or input shaft will work with your 300/6, but I have a friend who has a shop that specializes in putting late model 5.0 roller motors in early Mustangs and he has to custom build a ******* looking clutch assembly for the cable clutch operating system. Look in a catalog that specializes in Mustangs and Mustang conversions and see what the parts look like and maybe you can adapt the unit to your own clutch pedal.
It is going to be one of those cut, fit, cut, fit, cut............
projects but I guess you will eventually make it work.
Good luck. KEEP US INFORMED ON THIS ONE. I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF YOU CAN MAKE THIS ONE WORK.
