4x4 Shifter

96' F250 4x4, the transfer case shifter broke, the aluminum bracket just snapped. does anybody have any idea on how to go about fixing it? I have called around and everyone says I can only get the part at the dealer and it costs $250! So I can only immagine how much its going to cost to have them put it in... Any insight would help, thanks

salvage yard is your friend!

I don't know about how hard it is to replace.

if you cant find one, take yours off and take it to someone who knows how to weld aluminium. actually pretty easy. and alot cheaper and less work too.
