Thumbs down Help appreciated

Well today going down the interstate at 75mph, I blew the rear-most u-joint on driveshaft. Tranny fluid began to spew out at the gasket between the transmission and transfer case. I noticed most of the fluid coming from the top of that gasket. First inspection revealed no cracks or breaks in either case. I had my baby towed ona flat bed. Has anyone ever heard of something like this? Any input is welcomed. 2001F-350 4x4 37's auto Thank you all.

Did the driveline come out? Those of us that tow for a living replace the ujoint in about 100k. Im concerned if there was pressure placed on the case and you cracked it, but if the carrier bearing held its just going to be the normal leakage attributed to the removal of a driveline. replace the u joint and go for a ride.

The driveline is not a slip-yoke type, the one piece driveline never came completly off. I will try and pull the transfer case off tomorow, the tranny pan revealed no debris, i just hope if anything did crack that it was my transfer case and not the tranny. Thank you sir.
