I had this problem last winter, it went away during the summer, but now it's starting to come back now that the temperature is dropping. When I leave for work first thing in the morning, it will shift out of 2nd but won't shift into 3rd right away. It acts like it's in nuetral. After several seconds and a few revs of the engine it up shifts and it won't do it the rest of the day. Once in awhile it will do it from 1st to 2nd, but it's mostly 2nd to 3rd, and only when it's below 45 degrees outside or so, and the truck has been sitting the night. Can anyone explain why this happens?
Now that I think about it, every now and then in reverse I have to rev the truck to atleast 2500 rpms just to get it to move. It did this when I first changed the motor but hasn't since, but still worries me. Thanks for any help.
